I came across this car while doing a district patrol. It was well involved and I was unable to put it out witht he little 14 unit. Fortunately Morphett Vale 24 turned up fairly quickly and we finished the job. The fire was slowly working it’s way downhill into the park. These fires are happeing quite often with people stealing cars, and dumping them in carparks. They usually set them alight with petrol to destroy evidence.
There have been a number recently in Adelaide where the LPG gas tanks have exploded endangering fire fighters and the public.
