I spent last weekend at Ngarkat Conservation Park working on a fairly large fire. It ended up at around 80000 hectares which is 800 km2. I have put a few pics over at pcuse.com/gallery.

Really nice foto’s Shaun, are they taken with a digital camera ?
I hope this rain we have had is widespread in the bush and hills, and gives you a bit of a break. Our summer fires are like hell sometimes.
Keep the wind to your back,
Andy :)

Yeah, I always carry a Canon PowerShot A85 in my fire kit. There are a few more pics at pcuse.com/gallery.
The picture at the top of each page is from ngarkat 2005.
The recent rain is great as we will be starting the autumm prescribed burn season shortly.
thanks
